Looking for new ideas or resources to engage your faith or your ministry? Here are our weekly curated links, including offerings in each of the following categories: Prayer for the Home, Educational Opportunities, Resources (for ministers, educators, parents, etc.), and Flourishing and Fun.

Prayer for the Home:

For Your Marriage retreat
If the Hallmark Channel is to be believed, June is the month for weddings. If it’s been a while since you celebrated your nuptials, or if you feel that the honeymoon has long been over, perhaps this July could be the month to participate in a retreat to strengthen your marriage. For Your Marriage (part of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishop’s National Pastoral Initiative for Marriage) offers several free seven-day self-directed retreats in English and in Spanish for couples who want to grow in their relationship with God and one another.

Educational Opportunities:

ICYMI: Webinars from Liturgy Training Publications

Over the past several months, Liturgy Training Publications has hosted many webinars and retreats for those working in ministry, or those looking to learn more about the faith. Recordings of many of these webinars are available here in both English and Spanish, and you can learn more about upcoming events as well.

Resources:

Cultural Diversity Resources
The Catholic Apostolate Center has compiled a page of webinars and resources for those interested in learning more about the Church’s teachings around racism and xenophobia, and for those seeking to develop intercultural and interracial competencies.

Flourishing:

When Nothing Helps
Fans of Mr. Rogers will love this beautiful essay by Jonathan Heaps published by Church Life Journal, which affirms that doing nothing can, in fact, be doing something to help others.

And just for fun:

Staycation Ideas
If the pandemic has laid waste to your summer travel plans, here are some great ideas for fun at home that won’t break the bank.
